Wellbeing Physiologist Birmingham + UK Travel

Occupational Health Staffing are looking to recruit a Wellbeing Physiologist to work in Birmingham + UK Travel on a full time permanent basis. In this role you will be working predominantly in Birmingham area, however there may be occasions you are asked to travel within the UK including North East and Cornwall. You will be given notice for any additional travel and expenses will be paid for. You will need your own vehicle and be flexible to travel. The role will involve:

• To deliver lifestyle clinical assessments of patients.
• To conduct one-to-one and group-based health and wellbeing interventions.
• To provide evidence-based advice tailored to the patient’s health profile (adiposity, biochemistry, blood screening) and stage of behaviour change.
• To formulate and implement written action plans based on treatment prescription, which is modified for the applicable stage of change.
• To support patients living with lifestyle induced disease to make positive and sustainable lifestyle choices for enhanced chronic disease management.
• Provide guidance and support to employees to make positive lifestyle changes, including nutrition and exercise habits.
• Give assistance and reassurance to clients during their medical tests.
• To deliver evidence-based exercise sessions to groups.
• To use specialised equipment to perform clinical physiological tests.
• To record and analyse physiological data.

To apply you will need to be a qualified and experienced Wellbeing Physiologist. To be considered for this role you need to be qualified to degree level or equivalent in Sports Science/ Health Science/ Exercise Physiology/ Sports Therapy and previous experience in sport, medical, health, wellbeing or fitness environments or studied human physiology, exercise, biochemistry, anatomy/biomechanics, psychology or nutrition.

Salary: up to £32,000 + Benefits
