Occupational Hygienist

Occupational Health Staffing are looking to recruit an Occupational Hygienist to work in Dartford, Kent with travel to sites in South of England on a full time permanent basis. The role will involve:

• Promotion of OH Hygiene practice across the business to reduce risks to health from work activities
• Expert advise on Occupational Hygiene
• Provide integrated approach to health and health and health risk management
• Support site teams in reducing health risks
• Contributing to health related campaigns and health promotion
• Deliver up to date training on heath risks and means of controlling them
• Assist in drafting and review company procedures and processes relating to Occupational Hygiene
• Provide expertise to assist in investigation and incidents involving health risk

To apply you will need to be an experienced and qualified Occupational Hygienist with a degree or diploma in Occupational Hygiene, certificate of operational competence (BOHS). You will need to have extensive experience of good occupational hygiene practice covering a wide range of individual processes. Deep understanding of the causes of ill health and preventative strategies. You will need to be a competent author of procedures and processes.

Salary: up to £69,000 plus car allowance and excellent benefits
